The authoritative source for generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) recognized by the Financial Accounting Standards Board to be applied to nongovernmental entities. Please note: Only one person can use FASB at a time. Please be sure to select log out when you are done using it.

Provides evidence-based information about natural products (herbs and other supplements) used for various medical conditions. This resource enables you to search for thousands of brand name products; consult ratings for safety, quality, and effectiveness; check for potential drug interactions and nutrient depletions; and more.
 
SciFinder (added August 2011)
A research discovery tool for literature from many scientific disciplines, including biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, and more. First-time users are required to set up a personal account.
 
Scirus (added October 2011)
A search engine for the sciences that indexes online journals, documents, and websites. Unlike general search engines like Google, Scirus specializes in scientific, technical, and medical content only.
 
Smithsonian Global Sound (added August 2011)
This streaming audio database is an archive of music from many of the world's cultures as preserved by Smithsonian Folkways and other record labels. It also includes recordings of the spoken word, natural sounds, mechanical sounds, sound effects, children's music, and more. Playlists can be created for personal or classroom use.
 
Ward's Business Directory (added May 2011)
A guide to over 114,000 companies, providing ranking and analysis. Ranks companies by sales within NAICS and SIC codes. One of the few primary sources of information on private companies.
