Reference Service
Librarians at St. Catherine University support the academic programs of the univeristy by providing reference services. As our highest priority, we support the curricular and other information needs of our students, faculty, and staff.
We offer reference service to St. Catherine University students, faculty, and staff by advising on approaches to research questions, and assisting with research tools. We work with library users to find information, helping them to develop their own research skills as we answer their immediate needs. When a reference question or a search process is complex, we may ask that a library user make an appointment with a librarian for a more in-depth reference consultation.

We welcome users from outside of the University, although the amount of time we can spend may be limited.
St. Catherine University librarians provide reference service consistent with the American Library Association's Code of Ethics.
