RefWorks: Personal Citation Manager

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is a Web-based citation manager. It is provided and supported by St. Catherine University Libraries for use of all students, faculty and staff. Using RefWorks, you can:

  • Import and store citations found in Library databases or other sources
  • Organize your citations by subject, class or project, & access it from any computer via the Internet
  • Generate a reference list formatted in any citation style
  • Insert in-text citations in proper citation style as you write your paper
  • Share citation lists with classmates or others in a group, anywhere
  • ...and more!

How to get started using RefWorks

  1. Create your RefWorks account
  2. Import citations as you search Library databases, or create them manually
  3. Organize and manage your citations by creating folders
  4. Generate bibliographies from your citations, formatted in the citation style of your choice (MLA, APA, AMA, Turabian, etc.)
