Library instruction at St.Catherine Library provides faculty and instructors with resources and support services to help students through the entire research process, from question formation and information gathering to citation formatting.
Library instruction sessions for TRW are designed to introduce students to the foundations of college-level library research and inquiry. We are happy to work with you to develop a lesson plan that meets your needs and the needs of your students.
Library sessions for GSJ are designed to equip students with the skills necessary to conduct more advanced research.
For more information and to schedule an instruction session, contact librarian Amy Mars: anmars@stkate.edu | 651.690.6202
A librarian will work with you to develop a lesson plan to meet the information and research needs of students for specific assignments or subject-specific research. Contact your Subject Librarian or fill out the Instruction Form to discuss opportunities.
Consider contacting your Subject Librarian and adding them to your D2L course. If we're in your course we can:
Require and encourage students to set up research appointments with a librarian, or offer extra credit to those who do. Students can meet one-on-one with a subject librarian for research assistance no matter how far along they are in their research. They can fill out our Meet with a Librarian form or contact their Subject Librarian.
