Charles Darwin's 200th Birthday

February 12, 2009 is the bicenntenial of Charles Darwin's birth.  This year also marks the 150th anniversary of the publication of his book, On the Origin of Species. Local events on February 12 include: Birthday celebration and teach-in, noon-1 pm, Mendel Hall on campus LIFE: A Journey Through Time, 7-9 pm, Bell Museum of Natural History, Univ. of MN Darwin's Birthday Party, 11:45 am at St. Thomas
