Deep Throat Dies:  W. Mark Felt, 1913-2008

Mark Felt, who on May 31, 2005, revealed that he was Deep Throat, died in his home. 

By providing information about the Watergate affair to Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, he became one of the most famous anonymous sources in journalism.  His identity remained a secret for more than 25 years.
