Research on Diversity in Youth Literature launches!

RDYL launches!

Last year St. Kate's Professor Sarah Park Dahlen (Library and Information Science) came to us asking if there could be a journal hosted in the St. Kate's Library. She, along with her colleague Gabrielle Atwood Halko from West Chester University, wanted to start a journal about diversity in youth literature.

We were thrilled to work with them and have been working the past year to figure out how we could host this journal. We're happy to say that the journal's first issue came out last Friday, June 1. Congratulations to Professor Dahlen and her colleagues for all their hard work!

The Research on Diversity in Youth Literature (RDYL) journal is live and open source, meaning anyone can read the articles for free. Please check it out and pass it on to anyone who may be interested.
