What is a proxy account?
A proxy account allows an eligible library user to designate another person to use certain library services on their behalf. This is meant for St. Kate's staff and faculty members who wish to designate a graduate assistant or department administrator as a proxy. Eligible users may designate a proxy to:

  • Pick up materials on hold
  • Check out materials

Checking out materials
When a proxy checks out materials on behalf of someone else, they must:

  • Use their own ID, not the faculty or staff ID
  • Mention they are acting as a proxy so the items can be checked out properly

More information
To set up a proxy, fill out the form below, or visit the Proxy Account Policy page for more information.
