St. Catherine University Library can offer Alumnae/Alumni the following services.A St. Catherine University library card, available at the circulation desk in the library.
Visiting scholars are defined as researchers who are being hosted by St. Catherine University.
A St. Catherine University library card is available with a letter of affiliation from their home institution and it can take up to two days to process cards.
Visiting scholars may apply for a card by contacting the circulation supervisor (651.690.6655). Please be prepared to provide a letter of affiliation from your home institution.
This card is valid for one year and allows the borrowing privileges of materials from the St. Catherine University library.
These privileges do not include materials from other MnPALS Libraries or Interlibrary Loan.
The loan period is four weeks for books. DVDs do not circulate.
There is a limit of 10 items that can be checked out at a given time.
Access to online library resources (databases, ebooks, etc.) is limited to on-campus use only on designated computers.
Computer use is for one hour and printing is not available.
A valid Photo ID is required to sign up for computer use at the circulation desk.
The library reserves the right to revoke privileges.

Interlibrary Loan allows current students, faculty, and staff to borrow articles, books, and other research materials we do not own from other MnPALS partner libraries.

A proxy account allows an eligible library user to designate another person to use certain library services on their behalf.
