Celebrating the Women's Art Institute display

Categories: Arts

Celebrate women artists

From June 4th through the 28th, the Women's Art Institute on campus will be hosting a cohort of artists in their Summer Studio Intensive Course. One of the goals of the Studio Intensive is to gain insight into the work of contemporary women artists -- here in the library you can attain this goal, too, by picking up a book from our new display: Celebrating the Women's Art Institute. This display is full of art books with large color reproductions, biographies of women artists, and the history of women in art - including children's books on the topic. Stop by the St. Paul campus library for a dose of creative inspiration!

As always, if art books aren't your thing, ask a librarian for another recommendation or check out the Genre Jars at the Research Help desk for a surprise suggestion of Poetry, Memoir, Historical Fiction, Mystery, or Romance!
