Art by Ansgar Holmberg, CSJ
October 20 – December 15, 2022
Stop by the Library’s exhibit space to see the new show by Ansgar Holmberg, CSJ. Sister Ansgar Holmberg has been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 67 years. This exhibit features a collection of images that emerged for her during the pandemic. “Most of [these pictures] were intuitively drawn without any preconceived idea. They began with a line or two and then just took off more or less on their own. . . Only later did I discover they said something to me and about me. I offer them now to you hoping that you will spend a moment ‘reading’ them and perhaps discover one or two that might say something about you and to you.”
“Intuitives” is connected with and supported by the students of the theology course, Maiden, Mother, Crone: Life Stages of Women’s Spirituality, and instructor Rebecca Berru Davis.
