Library Instruction

Librarians will work with you to develop a lesson plan that meets the needs of you and your students on a variety of topics grounded in the library’s Information Literacy Student Learning Outcomes. These include:

  • Understanding the research process
  • Creating effective search strategies
  • Thinking critically about information
  • Using information ethically

See our Information Literacy Guide for more information on these topics. Librarians are happy to meet either in-person or virtually, and at all levels of instruction, including:

Consultations
  • Students can meet one-on-one with a subject librarian or fill out a consultation request form for research assistance no matter how far along they are in their research.
