Join us for a round of March Madness: Banned Books Edition! Many wonderful books have been challenged or banned (see more information about book bans here), and now they’re in a challenge of their own. St. Kate’s Bookstore and Library & Archives are hosting a bracket contest to see which banned book will be the ultimate champion as chosen by you! You don’t need to have read every book in the bracket to participate. Enter to have fun, voice your opinion about books, and win a book of your choice from the St. Kate's Bookstore! - Complete your bracket and submit your predictions for the winner by March 18. You can submit a paper bracket near the entrance of the library. Or, you can submit an electronic bracket with the following steps: Click here to download your bracket. Select “File > Make a Copy” and enter your picks. Then, send your completed bracket to library@stkate.edu, either by sending a link or saving as a .pdf and sending as an attachment. Be sure to include our name and email with your bracket submission so that we can contact you for prizes.

Cast your votes starting March 19, either online by following the bracket here or at the library! The votes will determine which books move on to the next round, so be sure to vote every round for a winner.
- Winner(s) will be announced by April 2. You’ll be contacted by email if you are a winner. We’ll also post the winning book on our Instagram account, @stkateslibrary.
