August 6th Self Indulgence: From Book to Screen

For the August edition of Shelf Indulgence, the theme is "From Book to Screen." Gather with your colleagues for the age-old debate of deciding which version is better: the book or the film! You choose any book to read that's been made into a film, and then we all gather to discuss what we've read (and maybe watched).
